I build software that solves problems pragmatically — from Django backends to browser extensions — and run the infrastructure behind it. When I hit a bug in a library, I stay on it until the fix is merged upstream. After studying software engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen, I now work as a system administrator at ATAMYA GmbH.

django-guardian — bug fix (merged upstream)

Discovered a crash in get_groups_with_perms when using custom group permission models, made it reproducible with a test case, and contributed the fix — merged into the official repository of Django's object-level permissions library.

A Django module of my own that generates expiring one-time or multi-use links for files in Django models and storage — for instance protected downloads that automatically become invalid after expiry or use.
